Christopher J. (Chris) Swedlund CPA is a shareholder in the firm McCall Gibson Swedlund Barfoot PLLC. Chris grew up in a small community outside of Cleveland, Texas known as Tarkington Prairie. He attended Tarkington ISD schools from kindergarten through graduation. After graduating from Tarkington High School he attended Abilene Christian University (ACU) in Abilene, Texas. Chris received his BBA in Accounting in December 1994. Upon graduation from ACU, Chris was employed by McCall & Company in January 1995. Chris has been employed with the firm since his graduation in December 1994, with the exception of a year and half period from January 2000 through September 2001 when he served as Vice President of a privately held company in Amarillo, Texas. Chris is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Chris and his wife Angell have been married since 1995 and they have two children. His interests include spending time with his family and golfing.
